Screenshot Dock

Privacy Policy

Screenshot Dock is designed to organize your screen captures without collecting your information.

Screenshot Dock does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information or your screen captures. Your captures stay on your Mac.

What Screenshot Dock handles

Screenshot Dock works with screenshots and screen recordings in the folder you explicitly choose. To show previews, group captures into sessions, and open or drag files when you ask it to, the app reads those files locally on your device.

The app stores the following information locally on your Mac:

This information is used only to provide Screenshot Dock’s features. It is not sent to us or to any third party.

What we do not collect

Screenshot Dock has no accounts, analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, tracking technology, cloud sync, or remote servers. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, device identifiers, usage data, diagnostic data, location, payment information, or the contents of your captures.

Your control over files

You choose the folder Screenshot Dock can access. The app uses macOS’s user-selected folder permission and can access only the folders you authorize. You can change the chosen folder at any time in the app. If you choose a copy, drag, reveal, or open action, that action is performed locally at your request.

You control the captures themselves. Delete or move them using Finder or Screenshot Dock, or remove the app’s folder access by choosing another folder or uninstalling the app.

Children’s privacy

Because Screenshot Dock does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected before or when the updated app is made available.
